I encountered a Cetaphil spree on Female Daily forum, so I ordered these two. I've been using it for almost three weeks now and so far so good. I like the lotion a lot, I use it at night after applying my Vitacreme B15. Maybe I need to update my skincare routine post, huh?

Next I got my MAC Face & Body Foundation and Skindinavia "Dance!" facial mist. I've reviewed the foundation here and as for the Skindinavia, to be honest I don't see much difference in my makeup after using it. I guess I need to experiment more with it before I can do a full review.

I used up my Body Shop Grapeseed Glossing Serum (which I mostly use as heat protector) and instead of repurchasing, I resorted to CHI Silk Infusion. I first heard about it a long time ago from a Youtube guru. I recall her saying it smelled fantastic but nah, I'm not that big on its smell. It reminds me of a men cologne, actually. I'm sure I'm not alone about that but seriously though, wouldn't it be weird to have some guy smell your hair and goes "you smell like a man!" lol. Ehh. And the smell sort of lingers too... sometimes. :(

Nail stuff. I've never splurged on any of them until now. I don't like waiting my nail polish to dry so I bought Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. I also bought OPI Avoplex Cuticle Oil to Go. It smells great and it does the job. If you have extra dry cuticles, I doubt it will heal them completely though.

I received one My Scheming Beauty sheet mask as a gift from an online seller. I've never really been into sheet masks that much even though they're very popular here in Asia. I tried it without any high hopes but as it turns out I really like it! It makes my skin somewhat firmer and brighter. I know the instant effects of sheet masks are temporary but boy is it fun to indulge once in a while!

So yeah, those are all my recently purchased items. Let me know if you want me to write a full review on any of them. I do think I have to review Skindinavia Dance! because I haven't seen it much on beauty blogs. It has gathered some glowing reviews on makeupalley though!
Great post doll! I've never heard of Cetaphil!
ReplyDeleteJust letting you know I've got all your giveaway goodies except the palette which I shall be picking up tomorrow so you'll receive it all in the post soon! :D xx
Great purchases! I am dying to try the MAC Face and Body foundation :)
ReplyDeleteNice haul! I LOVE the seche vite top coat it's definitely a must have for me. That's a really great idea of only buying what's on your wishlist, I should do that too! :)
ReplyDeleteI should definitely splurge on some Cetaphil products, as my skin is totally screwed up -_-
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that the smell of CHI Silkf infusion is not that great, but it doesn't really bother me. It works so well and leaves my hair sooo shiny =D
Hello Fifi. I love sheet maskes for my super dry skin. How do you like the foundation? I hear it's really sheer but water proof and has natural coverage.
ReplyDeleteI love the CHI Silk Infusion, i only bought the tiny one, sample sizes via Ebay! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG you hopped on the Cetaphil band wagon!!! Yay! I've been so loyal to Cetaphil products for over ten years after my dermatologist recommended it to me when I was like 12 years old. It's amaaaazing. It really works if you have severe dry skin. I can't go without it. And I have both the oily and gentle skin cleanser in my bathroom too :)
ReplyDeleteActually I kinda like the CHI silk infusion smell. Armani Code (my favourite perfume) is also a bit "male-ish" more so than feminine I guess...but you said you like the Armani code right? I've used sooooo many gloss serums for hair and CHI by far is the best one. I will not be experimenting with other hair serums I don't think - CHI is a staple for me now :)
I can't vouch for the rest of the products but I will tell you that you made a right choice with Cetaphil. It's such a gentle cleanser and the entire line of lotions, moisturizers, etc work so well. My skin has become so much smoother and much more supple after using it on a daily basis. :)
ReplyDeleteWhere did you buy Cetaphil, dear, may I ask? And how much (in IDR)? I've been looking for Cetaphil these few moths.
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
@Milchazena: You can buy it from beautideamor.multiply.com. You have to pre-order though. I forgot how much I got it for, lol, but I think I paid about 250rb for the biggest bottle (591 ml)
ReplyDeleteI love CHI silk infusion! The smell never bothered me before =]
ReplyDeleteI really like the CHI hair shampoo. I highly recommend
