In the past few weeks there have been so many not-so-pleasant affairs on the news but to hell with those. I'd say drop the Nazaruddin bullshit and just move on with our lives. The guy doesn't deserve THAT much attention. Yesterday alone I overheard my boyfriend watching the news and it said something like, "Nazaruddin is at risk of psychological abuse and constant stress."
Oh okay, what are we expected to do about that information anyway? Send a card to cheer him up? He robbed money from the Indonesian people, flied out to South America for a bit of a leisurely time, came back, and expects to be treated as THE victim? Get the guy to court, put him in jail and be done with it already. I'm sick of hearing his name on the news. We don't need another famous-for-15-minutes criminals.
Do you know what we need more as a nation, though?
We need more comedy. One that doesn't involve people hitting each other with oversized furniture made of stereofoam. I mean, since when comedy has to be so environmentally unfriendly? And thus, I present my fellow Indonesians with this well done stand up performance by Pandji. The guy knows what he's doing! It's easy to bash boybands (cough*raditya dika*cough) but to come up with something like "Laskar Pocong" needs a deft observational skill. Enjoy, and please share it to as many people as possible!
