Original, eh?
In all seriousness, though, the scent of this nail polish is so yummy just like cotton candy. I always feel like chewing my fingers off after I paint my nails with it. I haven't come across anything like it before; I find it unique. I think I'm gonna go back to Revlon some time soon to see if they have other colors/scents available (I looked it up and yes, different color has its own smell!).
I'd describe the color as a shimmery pale pink. It's nothing special, I guess, but I myself prefer this kind of non threatening colors when it comes to nail polishes. Application is quite alright for a $3 polish but since it's very sheer, I usually need to apply at least two coats. It's also a pain in the butt waiting for the polish to dry so a fast-drying top coat would be necessary. I used my Seche Vite top coat with it and it didn't chip for like three days.

Has anybody tried Revlon's scented nail polishes before? What do you think about them?

Oh a yummy scented nail polish! The color is great too, I've never tried it but I'll keep my eye out for this cute pink shade.
ReplyDeleteNice nails. I really like this look.

I've only tried one of the new scented polishes, Pina Colada, and it stunk to high hell and I hated the scent! It was a pretty sheer blue for layering though, and I found that if I used a topcoat plus nail polish drying drops and washed my hands a few times, the smell disappeared. I'd like to get my hands on some of the other colours with more appealing scents though :)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of an OPI polish.. Pretty!

Oh neat! Now I want to smell your nail polish LOL The colour looks gorgeous but I really get impatient with light pink colours that go on sheer (I seem to always have that problem and then I need like 5 coats!).
ReplyDeleteAnd you made me laugh @ "non threatening colours"
Ooh! So pretty!!!!! ^_^ and it's scented!
ReplyDeleteNot sure WHY, but the #300 cotton candy polish turned my nails an awful yellow when I took the polish off! I have never had problems with any other polish doing this! I won't be using the scented ones again. NOW, I need to try and figure out how to get rid of the yellow stain on both my toes nails AND finger nails!
