FOTD: Smoky Plum

When was the last time I dyed my hair? Oh right, almost SIX MONTHS ago. I like the whole process of dyeing my own hair but I don't do it too often. I use curling and flat iron a lot so my hair has gone through enough. Last weekend I merely did it for the sheer amusement of having slightly different hair color. I used red/brown by Miratone; it's like a dollar cheaper than L'oreal Excellence Cream but it works just as well.

The change is barely noticeable but now my hair looks burgundy-ish in room lighting. Under sunlight, the reddish tone comes out pretty strong. I'm sure it will fade out to a plain looking dark brown again in a couple of weeks.

Big hair! Spent a lot of time working on this (my hair is reasonably flat) so I'm compelled to post it on the internet. I may need a bigger sense of accomplishment in life. Haha.

My makeup last weekend was really the kind of makeup I mostly do when I go out; smoked out eyes and pale nude pink lips. It's the same kind of look I did on my last FOTD (Olive Green) just with different colors. The main color on the lids is Last Call by Urban Decay and everything else is from a Revlon CustomEyes palette called Smoky Sexy. :)
