Jealousness Sunny Waterproof Eyeliner Liquid Review

You probably know that I'm a complete eyeliner junkie. Though my current HG is still the infamous Stila Smudge Pot, this liquid eyeliner by Jealousness comes close in second place. I guess I'm lucky that Mari Mari Indonesia gave me the opportunity to try it.

Jealousness is a Taiwanese brand that has been getting a lot of raves lately in its home country. Their products can be purchased online at Sasa.com, or if you live in Indonesia, you can purchase them at Mari Mari Indonesia online shop.

So far I'm impressed with the stuff I tried. I think their products are of good quality and reasonably priced. This particular eyeliner has a retail price of $10-13 depending on where you get it. It's cheaper compared to most drugstore Japanese brand eyeliners but is very comparable to them.

The cool thing about this eyeliner is that you can choose between two types of applicator. The one I have comes with a stiff felt tip applicator which is very beginner friendly. But if you're already skilled in applying liquid eyeliner or if you prefer more precision, I'd suggest getting the one that comes with thin brush applicator.

The consistency is a bit watery but it dries fast on the skin. I do have to apply at least two coats in order to get the most intense and even finish.

I love love love the finish of this eyeliner! That's three love's so you better believe it. Haha. It dries out patent matte black color just like my Stila gel eyeliner. I don't like it when liquid eyeliners have that shiny finish to them so this is a big plus for me.

Even though it says it's waterproof, it comes off easily when you splash it with water and rub it with light hand. As you can see, it's definitely more pigmented than Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner and it's easier to remove too at the end of the day.

The other thing that I love about this eyeliner is that it doesn't sting my eyes when I apply it close to the lashline or even on my waterline. I don't usually apply liquid eyeliner on my lower lashline so please excuse the crappy job I did below. I just want to show you how the eyeliner looks like applied both on my top and lower lashline. It definitely gives a very strong, defined look to my eye.

I also have to add that this eyeliner comes in two finishes: smoked black (matte) and diamond black (shimmery). I think the shimmery one would be great for special occasions when you want to achieve a more glamorous look.

- long lasting

- waterproof but very easy to remove

- dries fast

- comes with two different types of applicator

cons:

- the felt tip applicator is more suitable for those who prefer to wear thicker eyeliner (not really a con because if you want thinner, more precise line, you can choose the one with brush applicator)

- consistency is rather watery so one stroke is usually not enough

That's all I have to say about this eyeliner. Overall, I love it and would recommend it to everyone looking for a good quality eyeliner with affordable price. :)
