I promise that my next post won't be about contacts/circle lenses anymore, but I couldn't find a single review on this brand so I might as well contribute. To be fair Omega is a local brand so that's probably why they aren't much talked about yet on the blogosphere. Their newest circle lens collection is endorsed by Ayu Ting Ting if I'm not mistaken; it's called Omega Vanilla. The pair I'm reviewing is from their older collection; Omega Shine Chic.
Omega Shine Chic in Mocha (Brown)
Diameter: 14.2 mm
Water content: 55%
Lifespan: 6 months
Mocha comes in a warm brown coloring, flowery pattern and thin dark brown outer ring. They might look bright here but on my dark brown eyes they blend in so well to the point where they're almost unnoticeable. Some people might find that disappointing but for me it's exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not a fan of bright warm brown lenses as they don't go well with my tan skin.
The lenses give out just the right amount of enlargement for me. I'm not one who's into big dolly eyes; I just want more prominent looking iris and this pair is perfect for that.
As for comfort I think they're just about the same as Geo lenses but they do tend to get dry faster. I need to use eyedrops several times during the 6 hours that I wore them. For $5 a pair I feel like that's not something I should make a big deal out of.
I also like the fact that I can wear them without makeup on. When I'm lazy I just put on some eyeliner and mascara to go with these contacts and that already does it for me. With other circle lenses (especially colored ones) I always have to wear a bit more makeup.
Here I did a brown/grey smokey look which I've been wearing a lot lately. The blush I wore here is MAC Sunbasque and the lipstick is MAC Blankety.
Has anyone tried this brand too before?
