Signature Scent.

I've finally found it.

Nicole by Nicole Richie

Works best on cold nights. It smells almost exactly like CK One Shock For Her which I also like. The difference is that Nicole has a bit more patchouli in it while One Shock on me smells very gourmand. Nicole stays longer on me too so that ends the competition for me. Plus, it sort of matches my personality; flamboyant yet mysterious at the same time.. does that make any sense?

Anyway I'm in a mission of broadening my fragrance horizons so any recommendation would be appreciated. Florals/too girly scents aren't for me, I think. I'm also not the office type girl who wears Issey Miyake Pleats Please (yes, actually referring to someone I know here). Though I like that perfume a lot I just can't wear it and feel like myself.

What's your current favorite perfume?

  1. Well, I loooooveee Paco Rabbane Black XS for her, it smells glorious and sexy. Idk if that's too girly for you. Glad you are back to blogging world. Have a great day!

    1. Just checked out the notes of the perfume you mentioned and I think it's right up my alley! I've had enough sexy nighttime perfumes already though, kind of want something that's more suitable for daytime wear.. thank you for your kind comment by the way :)

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm glad you liked the post, but I also realized you may not see what I replied on my post. In short, on me the coral Melted lip color was way too orange and didn't suit me at all, especially when I initally wanted it (before trying it on). It came out more orange than the peachy pink I was looking for. I think there may be a longer description on your comment I replied to on that post, but yeah, a bit too orange for me! I am dying to get the Melted Violet and Melted Fuchsia one, but can't justify the price only since I know I won't be wearing them thaaat often, but they are beautiful!

    Bests,

  4. My signature scent is L'eau D'issey. At first I didn't like it very much, but I get compliments every time I wear the perfume, so I finally really like the scent. However, there's a thing about the cap, it broke so easily LOL. Another favorite perfume of mine is Nina by Nina Ricci, the fruity scent is so perfect for casual outfit.
I haven't tried Nicole Richie's but CK One Shock has a lovely scent.
